We had a fantastic trip today to the Globe Theatre in London as part of our A Midsummer Night's Dream focus for our Lead Creative Schools project.
We left school at 7:30am and began our long bus journey. We arrived at 12:00 to have lunch and then met our guide and drama leader, Suzanne. She showed us around the Globe itself, talking to us about its history and usage. We also got to go on stage and say some lines from the play.
We then headed inside to have a fantastic drama workshop.
Finally we headed over to the Globe Experience, to look at the history of the theatre through exhibits, artifacts and demonstrations.
Great to see the children having such a good time.
