We tested the effect of adding modifications to balloons. Linked in with our World War Two topic we looked at how doodlebugs worked and what designs they had.
Each group was given the opportunity to modify their balloons before they were attached to a straw harness on a cotton zip line.
We then measured the distance each one traveled.
