War Horse - Captain Stewart stream of consciousness

We have been learning how to uses dashes and hyphens this week including using them for suspense, subordinate clauses, repetition and after thoughts. We have also been learning about verbal irony.

Taking the Chapter 8 speech by Captain Stewart where he says, "What a ghastly waste. Maybe now when they see this they’ll understand that you can’t send horses into wire and machine-guns. Maybe now they’ll think again" we experimented with stream of consciousness and wrote some angry, rant filled sentences. Here are some of our early examples.
