We
had Day 3 of our Stats In Sound project with Community Music Wales today in
which our pupils got to experience using Arduino, a computer circuit board
programme enabling them to control sensors with a computer. The pupils picked
it up very quickly and were soon changing the pitch of sound with various
switches and even a light sensor.
Some
of our pupils went out and about in our school grounds to film and edit sound
which they then started to edit when they returned to school.
Everyone
had great fun and learned lots of new things. We all can’t wait until Day 4 on
Friday and our trip to the National Botanical Garden of Wales.
Here is a video clip of some of our pupils exploring Arduino.
